About
Fair warning. Once you understand what I actually do, you'll wonder how you ever did it without me.
Design has been part of my DNA since childhood. Rearranging my bedroom, obsessing over spaces, seeing potential where others saw just a room. Life took me on a detour first. A sociology degree and a brief early career in social work taught me something no design school could. How to truly listen, understand what people need, and earn their trust. It turns out that's the foundation of great design.
When I made the deliberate decision to pursue design professionally, I committed fully. I earned my NCIDQ certification, the highest standard in the industry, and built a career across both residential and commercial projects. I've designed spaces for homeowners across the Conejo Valley, Ventura County and Greater Los Angeles, produced permit-ready construction documents, and created brand-aligned corporate interiors for clients including NBC Universal and E! Entertainment.
Every client comes with a vision, even if they don't quite have the words for it yet. My job is to listen — really listen — and translate that into a space that feels like it could only belong to them. No two projects look the same, and that's exactly how it should be.
I'm passionate about historic preservation. I believe spaces have memory, and that great design honors a home's character while making it work beautifully for the people inside it. When I'm not designing, you'll find me with my three kids, my animals, out on a run, or standing in front of an old building wondering about its bones.

Great design starts with how a space works, not just how it looks. I develop thoughtful floor plans and spatial layouts that maximize flow, function, and livability. Then I layer in the aesthetic details that make a room truly yours.
From initial concept through final installation, I manage every detail. Material and finish selection, FF&E specification and procurement, contractor coordination, and quality control. You get a cohesive result without the stress of managing it yourself.
Your project doesn't stop at design. I produce permit-ready construction documents and can assist with the permitting process on your behalf. Whether you're remodeling a kitchen, reconfiguring a floor plan, or undertaking a full renovation, I can take your project from design concept through construction-ready documentation.
